How do I know if I qualify for the purchase of my home?

Why should I buy a new instead of an older home?
One of the reasons to choose a new home is there have been many advancements in technology in building and materials like windows, insulation, siding, heating and air conditioning. How will I be able to customize my home?
You will get to choose everything from your flooring to your front door. Many upgrades are already included when you build with Classic Design Builders. You can still find many opportunities to customize the look and the feel of your new home.
What should I expect when meeting the designer?
Allow yourself 2-3 hrs to go over all the selections with the designer. You will be able to go over the different selections of products: ex. brick, stone ,siding, shingles, front door, flooring, carpet, tile, wood, cabinets, granite.
What materials do you use to build my new home?
Classic Design Builders sets themselves apart by using high quality materials and products in the construction of your new home. They partner with some of the most reputable suppliers and contractors in the industry. For example: Train, Sherwin Williams, Delta, GE, Boise Cascade wood and many more.
What is the construction process?
Once you have selected a floor plan, a surveyor will place home on your new lot. Then the plans and survey are taken to purchase building permit. After the permit is obtained, the footing will begin on construction. Find out more about the process in our Project Walkthrough.
How long does it take to build a home?
We allow ourselves about 90-120 days construction time if the weather is cooperating. Find out more about the process in our Project Walkthrough.
Once I choose a floor plan can I make changes?
Yes, you can make changes from room extensions, interior walls, stone, brick, siding, wall color and many more.
Are we able to visit job site?
Due to insurance regulations you must be with a company representative to visit home during construction.
Are allowed to meet builder at site?
A representative will gladly meet you at your home during construction. Simply send a email through your sales agent and set up a time to meet.
When can we move in?
The builder is not allowed to let any furniture or people move in until a certificate of occupancy has been obtain. Once the certificate is obtained you can close your loan and move in.
Do I get final walkthrough before moving in?
Yes, your sales agent will set a time up to walk your home before you move in.
You will go through and test all appliances, electrical components, look for any cosmetic defects in paint or drywall. The agents will review your warranties and your one-year walkthrough.
